The 188 recently refurbished rooms and suites are equipped to the standard of a five star hotel; including air conditioning, satellite TV, TV LCD, mini-bar, safe, bathrobes, hairdryer, coffee & tee making facilities and High Speed Internet. Standard rooms (balcony on request) have views over the Resort Course or the Monchique Mountains; Superior rooms have private balcony and views over the pool and championship golf course and Studio rooms comprise a split-level bedroom / sitting room with pool view. There are also a number of junior and grand suites with separate sitting rooms and the new room category Family Room ideal for families.

Penina Hotel & Golf Resort is considered the ideal sporting leisure facility, offering its guests a wide selection of sport and leisure activities. The resort offers to its clients 5 hard tennis courts, a children’s club, a 3 Km jogging track, a gym, sauna, massage, beauty center, an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool and a FIFA-sized football field which has been used by teams such as Chelsea from the UK and Borussia Dortmund from Germany for their winter training.

The football pitch may be pre booked in advance for specific sporting events or simply used by hotel guests for a friendly game.  Garlands are a romantic and natural addition to your wedding day flower plans. The leafy green vines make a lush statement when strung across a ceremony arch, wound around an outdoor chandelier or draped across the back of reception chairs.
