Next, there is the villa’s kitchen, an old cellar, that has in fact been transformed into a fully equipped kitchen with modern facilities, a large wooden dining table and all the equipment required to prepare a perfect home cooked meal.

On the first floor, you will find a comfortable master bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, spacious living, opens out onto the unique terrace with its combination of complete privacy and breathtaking views of the Keas Chora of Ioulida. Here you will find the picturesque chapel of Taksiarches, built in 1830 as a protector of the family. Up to this day and for over four generations, weddings and christenings are held in this chapel in an inspiring environment full of memories!

Old Town wedding in Greece - Kókkini Porta Rossa

We found a ruined house in the Old Town and turned it into a hotel. While restoring it, we fell in love with the house, its history and its people.

We respected its character and peculiarities: the creeks of the wooden floor boards, the smell of the lime plaster, the roughness of its stones. We took care of the ageing mulberry tree in the garden and planted herbs, which the housewives who once lived here used.

Our intention has been to make a small hotel for just a few, select guests. To provide them with as much attention and care as they desire. To have a variety of pillows for them to chose from, food prepared just for them and carefully selected wines to go with it.

The furniture, lighting, objects and carpets give every space a warm, familiar atmosphere. Luxury has been balanced with simplicity and modern design matched with old collectable items.
