On accessing the Banquet Hall we are received by wood tones and natural light entering through the skylights and side windows. A large rustic fireplace contrasts with the chandeliers and the Perzina piano that add a touch of sophistication to the lounge, which features 440m2, up to 250 people and an area of support itself with two buffet rooms and a bar as well as it’s own kitchen for catering.

We have the perfect location as it´s 1 hour from Porto airport and 1.5 hours from Lisbon airport. We organized civil, religious and lay weddings in the magnificent gardens of the venue as well as on the adjacent beach, Boa Viagem montains and the castle of Montemor-o-Velho.

Pedro Filipe was born in January of 1984 in Sermonde. Always interested in arts. In parallel with his student life, he successfully completed the Complementary Music Course at the Espinho Music Academy in the violin class. The taste for photography came later, inspired by his older brother. From the beginning, still with little theoretical knowledge, his photographic pleasure made him transport the machine permanently in search of unique moments and unforgettable images.

 

In the meantime, he attended a variety of training and workshops in photography technique and image processing. With the income obtained through photographic works it was possible to update your equipment.

If for any of us, a photograph is a little square to later remember, for Pedro Filipe, this is an art without price. Six Senses Douro Valley presents a superbly renovated 19th-century manor house set high on a hill overlooking the vine covered rolling hills of the Douro Valley and the river below. Six generously sized rooms have a very modern yet cozy atmosphere with a spacious bathroom. With a footprint of 430 to 495 square feet (40 to 46 square meters), they offer views of the vineyards or courtyard. Several of the vineyard-facing rooms have also a terrace with a seating area.

Dining options at Six Senses Douro Valley are a celebration of the region with much of the produce coming from the verdant valley and surrounding countryside. An organic garden of vegetables and herbs is located right on the estate. Fresh ingredients are harvested only as needed, assuring ultimate freshness and flavor.

Awesome Beach Wedding Venues in Portugal

Portugal has many km of beautiful beach wedding venues and you can have your wedding ceremony  at the beach.
None of Portugals beaches are private, all beaches are with acess for the general public.
 Especially for civil weddings we need to get a license from the Capitania and if the beach belongs to a nature reserve we also need to get a license from the nature reserve office.
In the summer month during the official bathing period of the year on many beaches it is only possible to get such a license after 7pm. Outside the bathing period other times are possible too. The bathing period varies from location to location but is generally form mid June till mid September. At the beach locations on our website you can get married also during the summer month before 7pm.
We do suggest for the summer month to choose the morning hours, before 1pm, when there aren’t so many people on the beach yet.
