She has always been the more demure of the Hilton sisters.
But Nicky Hilton seems determined to ensure her big day is the most talked about society wedding this year.
The hotel heiress is set to walk down the aisle with her fiance James Rothschild at Kensington Palace on Friday.
And the couple kicked off their wedding celebrations and plans early by gathering their
well-heeled family and friends in Central London for a pre-wedding party
on Thursday evening.
The 31-year-old bride-to-be looked
sensational as she arrived at Spencer House in St James on the arm of
her handsome beau, a member of the extremely wealthy Rothschild banking
family.
Taking inspiration from her upcoming big day, Nicky
showed off her legs in an exquisitely detailed cream lace mini-dress,
which featured long sleeves and a high neck.
The couple posed on the steps as they made their way into the event, kick-starting a weekend of extravagant partying.
On hand to support Nicky at the bash was her more ostentatious sibling Paris, 34.
The sociliate and reality TV regular certainly made an entrance at the
grand address, strutting into the party wearing a floor-length black
gown with a thigh high split.
It may have been packed with the world's wealthy elite, but the party wasn't missing a political heavy weight or two.
Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former US president Bill and future White
House hopeful Hillary, also arrived alongside her husband Marc
Mezvinsky.
Nicky and James have been dating since 2011, and the wealthy Brit proposed last August while visiting Italy's Lake Como.
Speaking about her desire to lay on her nuptials away from her native
US, Nicky explained: 'I’ve always wanted a destination wedding and I
love London, so I’m leaning towards London.'
They will exchange
vows in The Orangery at the palace, close to the London residence of
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
This will actually mark the second wedding for Nicky, who married
childhood friend Todd Andrew Meister in Las Vegas 10 years ago, only for
the marriage to be annulled three months later.
