Chateau Sentout

Owned and operated by Gérard and Mary, Chateau Sentout is a beautiful family property offering accommodation for up to 40 people in 8 separate villas and apartments. Situated around a central courtyard and pretty gardens, all have en-suite bedrooms, heating, air-conditioning and free WiFi.

This small 17thC Chateau, filled with history and architectural features is a rare example of property maintaining its original state over the last 400 hundred years and not spoiled by modern additional buildings or suburbia. Its charm stems from the original architecture: With three round turrets, three square towers, 10 stone arches, 4 high stone columns, and a Virgin statue on rocks in the arbour, all in a peaceful setting. There is even a consecrated chapel.

With 20 hectares of meadows and woodland surrounding the chateau, calm and tranquility are guaranteed and the formal and natural gardens give each villa a space of its own, allowing guests their privacy whilst being a part of Chateau Sentout as a whole.

Receptions and functions can be organized either in the large reception room of the “Coach house” with adjoining kitchen used by caterers or by guests themselves, in the arches garden or beneath the stone columns, which are illuminated at night.

Tables and chairs, crockery, cutlery, table clothes, candlesticks as well as a media projection screen and an amplifier with CD player can also be provided. We are not able to offer complete wedding packages, floral decoration, bridal bouquets, photographers or DJ equipment but could gladly recommend companies providing this services.

If you would like a more formal and prestigious reception for a large group during your stay with us, we can introduce you to nearby properties who organize such ceremonies but who do not have enough accommodation for groups of 40 or more. On request with can also arrange a “méchoui”BBQ (roasted lamb on a spit with semolina and vegetables). This is always highly appreciated by our guests and is available at a much lower cost than a catered meal.

And last but not least, our large heated pool with shallow end for children is open for your enjoyment from March to November.

Your marriage ceremony may be celebrated amidst all the riches of the natural world (the outdoor theatre or the pool-side garden), within the Château courtyard, or in the Summer Room, safe from the vagaries of the weather.

Chateau des Buis

It is every girl's dream to marry their prince in a historic, romantic castle with sweeping views. Château des Buis is a substantial 13th century property that has had only 2 owners throughout its 800-year history - the present custodians having lived at the Château for over 350 years
As part of this unique and exclusive experience, your host, 'le Chatelain', will provide a guided tour during the day to explain the history of the Château and guide you around some of its most historically-important features - including the hand-painted fresco from the Renaissance period and the 'Salle des Fresques'.
