In a stunning lakeside location just outside Rome, Villa Palazzola is a 13th century Cistercian monastery, fully refurbished and modernised with a large swimming pool and breathtaking garden terrace. It's the perfect place for parish groups, pilgrims, school groups, families, couples or people on holiday on their own who stay for a couple of days or a couple of weeks.  It's also a wonderful place to hold a wedding in Rome.

Our weddings are based on a package of 3 days minimum.  Unfortunately it is not possible to use our church unless as  part of a wedding package.

Palazzola has 54 rooms (27 en-suite and 27 standard), a mix of singles and twins/doubles, some with full ensuite facilities, giving it a capacity to sleep 69 people.  All are well furnished and comfortable and a number have stunning lake views.  The rooms are rustic and simple, there are no TVs, telephones or mini bars in the rooms here. The arrangement of rooms around the cloister (the Old Wing) and in the New Wing (all en suite) makes Palazzola highly suitable for groups.
